Vision Therapy
VISUALLY RELATED ACADEMIC PROBLEMS:
1. Children with VISUAL EFFICIENCY PROBLEMS have Symptoms that can vary in severity. They can include but are not limited to simple headache, getting tired when doing near tasks, avoiding near tasks altogether and getting sleepy or tired when doing up close work, seeing double or the words swimming around on the page, omitting small words and letters, rereading the same line or paragraphs, and difficulty in copying from the board.
2. Children with VISUAL INFORMATION PROCESSING PROBLEMS such as having poor spatial coordination, inability to apply certain concepts spatially, difficulty with left and right directions, being unable to extract useful information, having a short attention span, being unable to differentiate minor differences, having a poor ability to recall visually presented materials, having a poor eye hand coordination, and poor printing or handwriting along with a poor pencil grip.
3. Children with academic difficulties not performing up to potential.
4. Squint and Amblyopia (lazy Eye) testing and management.
5. DYSLEXIA and Learning difficulties. Children that suffer from dyslexia involve reversals, poor visualization, and a poor ability to recall visual information can benefit from these eye exercises and certain VIPE therapy.
